Much prior research into Knowledge Management (KM) has considered the impact of formal KM systems in Western contexts. Much less attention has been paid to non-Western contexts, and even less to the indigenous sociocultural constructs of those contexts. In this work-in-progress study, we report on our preliminary research into the salient features of the Chinese sociocultural context that are related to KM in organisations. Our objective is to develop a new theory that explains how knowledge is sought and shared – globally.

A Guide to Publishing in International Research Journals
As a journal editor, I see many papers submitted by authors on a variety of topics. The research is often intrinsically interesting, yet it is not always presented very carefully or effectively. In this workshop, I present some guidelines that are designed to help (particularly) junior researchers to navigate the research publishing process. I will also explain how reviewers and editors think – what they look for, what they like and dislike.
